      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide outpatient substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment services to adults and their families
      - Conduct evaluations, individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and community education
      - Offer outreach services to individuals charged with minor drug-related offenses, connecting them with treatment resources
      - Collaborate with community agencies, including Parole & Probation and DHS Child Welfare
      - Perform screenings and assessments to determine diagnosis and level of care

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - For Addictions Specialist 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field; at least one year of relevant experience
      - For Addictions Specialist 2: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field; three years of relevant experience
      - For Addictions Specialist 3: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field; two years post-Master's supervised experience in addiction treatment
      - Certification as a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor may be required, depending on the level of specialist
      - Must pass a criminal history check and possess a valid Oregon driver's license

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of community resources
      - Additional certifications in substance use counseling or related fields
      - Experience in outreach or engagement strategies for individuals in legal systems
      - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
      - Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques
