What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist students with course registration and ensure understanding of degree and practicum application requirements
- Advocate for students' academic, financial, and healthcare compliance needs to support successful enrollment and completion of educational goals
- Partner with the Student Support Liaison for coordinated support and seamless communication for students
- Advise students on university policies, financial aid, and healthcare compliance matters
- Monitor student accounts and provide financial advising throughout the student lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, academic advising, financial aid advising, or higher education
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Student Information Systems
- Familiarity with software tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and make sound decisions independently
- Previous experience in a higher education setting
