What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform routine quality assurance audits on internal payment transactions for compliance
- Prepare documentation for external client audits, ensuring data is validated and organized
- Utilize analytics tools to identify payment discrepancies and investigate errors
- Maintain tracking logs of audit findings and update dashboards to reflect accuracy trends
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and suggest procedural updates for efficiency improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare claims, payment integrity, or financial auditing
- Foundational understanding of payment cycles, claims adjudication, or billing processes
- Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Looker, Excel) for reporting and pattern identification
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage recurring audit tasks
- Excellent documentation skills for audit findings and clear communication with team members
