      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely processing of financial transactions
      - Provide leadership and supervision to designated accounting staff
      - Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies
      - Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement reports
      - Collaborate with executives on financial reporting and strategic initiatives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required; CPA, CMA, and/or MBA strongly preferred
      - Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management
      - Deep expertise in US GAAP and strong technical accounting capabilities
      - Extensive knowledge of accounting systems and emerging technologies
      - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Preferred experience in both for-profit and non-profit environments
      - Industry experience in financial services, particularly in life insurance and retirement
      - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools, experience with NetSuite is a plus
