      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and teach undergraduate courses in computational and applied mathematics at various levels
      - Mentor students on projects related to computational mathematics, operations research, mathematical finance, or statistics
      - Engage in departmental service activities and contribute to the academic community
      - Collaborate with faculty to enhance teaching practices and student learning outcomes
      - Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of the mathematics curriculum

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
      - Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching mathematics courses
      - Ability to develop and teach courses at the 1xx-2xx levels as well as senior-level courses
      - Strong commitment to student mentorship and academic success
      - Availability to work additional hours beyond the typical work week as needed

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field or ABD at the time the appointment begins
      - Previous teaching experience specifically in computational and/or applied mathematics
      - Experience with student project mentorship in a higher education setting
      - Demonstrated commitment to advancing academic excellence for all learners
      - Ability to provide a sample syllabus or additional teaching materials
