What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach graduate courses in sustainability studies and quantitative methods
- Advise master's and PhD students while supervising research projects
- Contribute to curriculum innovation integrating various sustainability dimensions
- Collaborate with SIT departments on admissions, marketing, and student support
- Develop and maintain a research agenda advancing scholarship in sustainability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field by the time of appointment
- Proven expertise in quantitative research methods and data science
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and student mentorship
- Ability to design inclusive, field-based curricula for diverse student populations
- Commitment to social and environmental justice and global education
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with international, intercultural, or community-based fieldwork
- Research that connects quantitative and qualitative inquiry
- Record of externally funded research or professional engagement
- Experience advising graduate-level research or capstone projects
