What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and publish findings in relevant fields
- Teach graduate-level courses in CACREP-accredited programs
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to graduate students
- Advise and support students in their academic and professional development
- Participate in program governance and advancement initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, Rehabilitation Counselor Education, Rehabilitation Psychology, or a closely related discipline
- Eligibility for certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and/or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Prior clinical experience as a mental health counselor, rehabilitation counselor, or rehabilitation psychologist
- Evidence of strong scholarly accomplishments through publication and funding successes
- Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive practices in research and teaching
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with diverse clinical populations in assessment, intervention, and wellness
- Proven ability to develop and maintain an active research program supported by external funding
- Skills in providing quality mentoring and supervision at the graduate level
- Participation in shared leadership roles within academic programs or departments
