What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare accurate medical claims for various payers based on contracted agreements
- Review and resolve claims pricing discrepancies and submit secondary electronic claims
- Monitor billing requirements and provide education on insurance/billing questions to branch staff
- Ensure coding accuracy for maximum reimbursement and follow up on unbilled delivery tickets
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of home infusion billing experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical terminology
- Strong communication skills, both phone and email
- Familiarity with ICD10, CPT, NCCI, and standard billing regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service roles within healthcare settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and billing software
