What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage, coordinate, and implement charge capture initiatives to enhance revenue management
- Conduct root-cause analysis to identify and resolve revenue-related issues
- Provide education and develop corrective action plans based on findings
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure work queues are effectively addressed
- Code Emergency Room accounts specifically for IV Infusion Therapy charges
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with CPT/HCPCS codes or charging
- Minimum of 3-5 years of coding experience
- 1-2 years of experience with third-party billing and payment methodologies
- 1-2 years of knowledge of federal and state regulations
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Epic HB/PB Revenue Integrity experience
- Certifications such as Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
