What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with developing research study protocols
- Support data collection and protocol implementation for research studies
- Conduct data analysis tasks and assist in writing and reviewing reports and abstracts
- Present research outcomes and conduct research on public health policies
- Collaborate with the Clinical Innovation Team on various projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Jr/Sr pursuing a Bachelor's degree or a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Health Science, Exercise Science, Public Health, Mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to work full-time as a summer intern
- Experience with data-gathering and research
- Knowledge of medical practices and procedures
- Familiarity with Research, Ethics, Compliance, and Safety Training (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement
- Prior experience or classroom training related to human performance, data collection, data analysis, or project coordination/management
- Completed at least one college-level statistics course
- Quick learner, able to adapt to changing technologies and priorities
- Clinical experience preferred
