What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate system-generated alerts related to potential transaction fraud and chargeback disputes
- Conduct manual reviews of customer documentation and identity verification details for KYC compliance
- Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) assessments to identify complex ownership structures and transaction patterns
- Analyze customer accounts and transactional data to detect potential fraud activity
- Maintain detailed records of KYC reviews and compliance activities in line with regulatory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 2 years of experience in AML compliance, fraud detection, or a similar role at a financial institution or FinTech
- Familiarity with banking regulations, including BSA/AML, KYC, and OFAC sanctions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with identity verification tools and fraud detection techniques
