What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support corporate capital raises through financial modeling, diligence, and coordination with banks, investors, and internal teams
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate transactions and support long-range planning
- Analyze market trends and policy developments to provide insights for strategic direction
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess commercial opportunities and build data-driven business cases
- Prepare clear materials for the Board, executive team, and external stakeholders to support major decisions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, business, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate development, or a related area
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated experience in financial modeling and valuation
- Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working on energy or infrastructure transactions
- Familiarity with capital markets, M&A processes, or energy policy
- Advanced degree (MBA or JD) or CFA/CPA certification
