What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee shop production, including ordering supplies and materials, and ensuring quality control
- Perform routine and complex mechanical maintenance and repair on production equipment
- Train and direct Persons in our Care on maintenance and repair processes
- Review and recommend purchases of parts, labor, and new equipment to the supervisor
- Utilize computer software for production, quality control, order management, and inventory tracking
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in production work within a manufacturing and/or production facility
- Experience performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
- Proficiency in computer applications, including ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience leading and overseeing the work of others, including training and mentoring
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of application
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Previous experience in a correctional environment
- Skills in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a production environment
