What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Communicate with policyholders, providers, and plan participants via phone or written correspondence to address inquiries and resolve issues
- Document customer inquiries and related data electronically
- Assist service teams with back-office support functions
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies by protecting the confidentiality of plan participants and policyholders
- Achieve established service standards and metrics to support department goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of related experience in a contact center, customer service, dental office, and/or insurance setting
- Ability to work overtime as required to support business needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating initiative in assessing situations
- Proficient computer skills and keyboarding abilities
