What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, analyze, and initiate actions for denial resolution by communicating with payers, hospital departments, and patients
- Conduct necessary actions for effective appeals, including authorization research and rebilling
- Correspond with third-party payers to gather information required for denial resolution
- Utilize assigned work queues to perform timely denial resolution follow-up
- Analyze and research denial reasons for assigned denial codes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous Revenue Cycle knowledge in areas such as Patient Financial Services, Customer Service, or Coding
- Ability to efficiently perform assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with others
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One or more years of experience in healthcare billing functions
