What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a tier-2/tier-3 escalation point for complex benefits inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Educate employees on benefits plan features and maintain FAQs and quick-reference guides
- Lead open enrollment workstreams, including audits and data validation
- Reconcile monthly carrier invoices and research variances for accuracy
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance employee experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration in a multi-state environment
- Working knowledge of various benefits programs including health, dental, vision, and COBRA
- Proficiency with HCM/benefits platforms (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Excel/Office 365
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CEBS, CBP, or PHR/SPHR coursework or certification
- Experience leading open enrollment workstreams and benefits billing/reconciliation
- Prior vendor/carrier relationship experience and EDI/file-feed troubleshooting
