What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain close contact with current customers to assess their evolving business needs and provide value-added recommendations
- Generate new business leads through cold calling and collaboration with the corporate marketing department
- Travel to client locations to evaluate needs and recommend equipment replacements or new installations
- Become the subject matter expert on product and service offerings and accurately communicate these to customers
- Coordinate with service managers and technicians to enhance service activities and ensure customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Business Management preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven sales experience in a similar industry, particularly business-to-business sales
- Required experience in the car wash industry, capital equipment sales, or convenience store industry
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Experience working within typical sales cycles of approximately 30-90 days
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with CRM systems; proficiency in SalesForce.com is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage business expenses and complete expense reports punctually
- Exceptional consultative sales skills with a proven track record in relationship building
- Highly energetic sales personality with a customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
