What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the communication lead to apply communication theories to messaging development
- Collect data for the development of health communication strategies and products
- Conduct audience evaluations and analyze feedback to enhance communication effectiveness
- Produce quarterly communications research environmental scans related to public health topics
- Inform CDC communication strategies and support human-centered design projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in developing visual or health communication materials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based public health environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience developing materials that meet Section 508 accessibility requirements
