What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop various communication products for CDC Vaccine Safety initiatives
- Write clear and engaging materials related to public health topics, such as fact sheets and social media content
- Coordinate web and social media content across multiple CDC platforms while adhering to guidelines
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other communications professionals to enhance outreach efforts
- Analyze metrics and assist with research to improve communication strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience in developing visual or health communication materials
- Experience in creating materials that comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Proficiency in supporting or coordinating video production efforts, including editing and captioning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent
