What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls, prioritize, and redirect as needed, while addressing caller inquiries
- Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments in accordance with departmental policies
- Capture and verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately
- Assist in mentoring new team members and support process improvement initiatives
- Process payments for co-pays and outstanding balances while meeting performance standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- One year of data look-up/data entry experience
- Two years of customer service experience involving complex analytical problem-solving skills
- One year of call center experience with a focus on customer service in the medical industry
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of post-secondary education
- Experience in a healthcare call center
- Background in patient registration
- Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
