What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support client-facing advisory engagements focused on data architecture, analytics modernization, and AI readiness
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis related to data platforms and AI adoption in higher education
- Develop structured evaluation frameworks for assessing institutional data maturity and analytics capabilities
- Produce executive-level research deliverables including guides, white papers, and presentation materials
- Design and implement automation tools to improve research workflows and knowledge management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Public Policy, Higher Education, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Four (4) or more years of experience in management consulting, strategy, analytics, or market intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to conduct structured market research and synthesize findings into executive-ready materials
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, BI tools) or comparable analytics environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in higher education technology environments or public sector advisory
- Familiarity with data architecture concepts (data lakes, warehouses, governance frameworks)
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and generative AI tools
- Experience building automation scripts or workflow tools
- Knowledge of vendor landscapes within higher education data and analytics ecosystems
