What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and wireless access points
- Support and troubleshoot Cisco wireless LAN controllers and networking solutions in AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of F5 load balancers, Palo Alto firewalls, and DNS systems
- Provide on-site technical support at 21 Vicinage locations across New Jersey
- Update network documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in a related field such as computer science or information technology
- Substitution of additional IT technical experience on a year-for-year basis for educational requirements
- Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited institution and one year of relevant IT experience may substitute for required education
- Applicants nearing graduation may apply, with the requirement to complete their degree by the start date
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying supplies weighing 30 to 50 pounds
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment and cloud environments
- Familiarity with F5 load balancers and Palo Alto firewalls
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to participate in after-hours and weekend support as required
