      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review inpatient hospital claims to ensure proper reimbursement and compliance with coding standards
      - Extract clinical information from medical records and assign appropriate medical codes (e.g., ICD-10-CM, CPT)
      - Analyze and manipulate databases to support auditing processes
      - Respond to internal requests for medical information and clarify any discrepancies
      - Make independent decisions regarding work methods and handle multiple priorities effectively

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - RHIA, RHIT, or CCS Certification, held for at least 4 years
      - Experience in MS-DRG coding/auditing
      - Proficiency in reading and interpreting claims
      - Background in performing inpatient coding reviews/audits in healthcare settings
      - Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in APR DRG coding/auditing
      - Background in financial recovery processes
      - Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven operational environment
