What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and coordinate integration initiatives for various state agency applications through design, development, testing, and implementation
- Provide technical support to team members and evaluate new development tools and agency systems
- Assess and document impacts and risks of IT solutions based on proposed legislation or changes in processes
- Actively participate in the development of the client agency's IT strategic direction and plan
- Mentor other staff to resolve IT issues within client agencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, or related fields
- Minimum of two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11
- Associate's degree with relevant credits and two years of experience as an application programmer, or equivalent experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant
- High school diploma with four years of experience in IT-related roles may substitute for educational requirements
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within three business days of employment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
- Background in gathering requirements from product owners
- Knowledge of SEM documentation processes
