What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct outreach to providers via various communication methods for the collection of medical records
- Load medical records and reports into the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) application
- Serve as a subject matter expert in project management and coordination of medical records collection
- Support annual HEDIS audits and organize provider outreach for data collection
- Provide mentorship and leadership to team members on process improvement initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 4 years of healthcare experience, including medical records support in a managed care setting
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance
- Knowledge of CMS and AHA clinic coding
- Proficiency with data analysis tools, such as Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Experience with Healthcare Effectiveness Data Information Set (HEDIS) data collection
