      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to extract data and apply appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes
      - Ensure accurate HCPCS and facility-level Evaluation & Management codes are applied for billing
      - Abstract and code diagnoses and procedures from health records using appropriate classification systems
      - Attend staff meetings and other company-sponsored or mandated meetings as required
      - Perform additional duties as assigned and be available for off-hours and overtime work

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - CPC, CPC-H, CIC, COS, CCS, or other coding certification
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience coding using ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes
      - Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and regulations
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience coding emergency or hospital ancillary services
      - Expertise in pathophysiology, anatomy, medical terminology, coding systems, techniques, and procedures
      - Familiarity with patient accounting systems, such as Stockell InsightCS, EPIC Community Connect, Cerner, and/or PICIS EMR
      - Knowledge and experience calculating and applying IV Infusion and Injection codes
