What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the foreclosure process for an assigned portfolio of mortgage loans and contested foreclosures
- Communicate with foreclosure attorneys to minimize delays and resolve legal issues
- Provide necessary status updates to investors and respond to audit requests
- Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports for foreclosure tracking and compliance
- Ensure adherence to investor deadlines and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A combined 3 years of higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 year in Default Servicing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Motivated team player with a positive attitude
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3 years of Default Servicing related field experience (e.g., Collections, REO, Loss Mitigation)
- Proven ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Knowledge of bank and departmental systems
- Experience reading and comprehending legal documents
- Understanding of mortgage products including home equity loans and lines of credit
