What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation, then report any discrepancies to the loan originator
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
- Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc.
- Act as the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and clients, scheduling meetings to discuss outstanding items
What is Required (Qualifications):
- NMLS License is preferred
- Multi-lingual is a plus
- Computer proficiency required, including MS Office; familiarity with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative support experience in a professional office or mortgage environment
- Understanding of basic loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, and commercial loans
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in banking or finance is preferred
- Experience in the mortgage industry or relevant financial services
