What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and secure necessary permits, easements, and leases for facility placement and construction
- Communicate and negotiate with permit authorities, property owners, and internal teams
- Assist with special projects and initiatives related to customer needs and operational goals
- Manage vendor relations and risk assessments while preparing reports and metrics
- Maintain records and update GIS databases related to permitting and land use
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree (or higher) or 2+ years of professional work experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Voice, Data, or Video networking, or 6+ months of technical internship experience
- Demonstrated experience in permitting processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to effectively communicate and build professional relationships with diverse stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical knowledge of Real Estate Law, Land Surveying, Project Management, GIS, Telecommunications, and Construction
- Experience with ESRI GIS Software and ability to write Python scripts
- Familiarity with additional software such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, Access, and AutoCAD
