What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide seamless continuity of care for established inpatients, performing admissions and addressing cross-coverage issues
- Facilitate appropriate transfers and contribute to proactive care strategies
- Close critical coverage gaps to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Reduce ER hold times and eliminate treatment delays
- Collaborate with nurses and on-site providers to improve operational excellence
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be an Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of two years of previous advanced practitioner inpatient hospital experience
- Reside in the St. Louis metropolitan area
- Ability to complete the first 60 days of orientation on-site at the Virtual Care Center
- Strong commitment to quality patient care and teamwork
