What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and maintain structured records of Treasury actions, including economic intent and expected accounting treatment
- Maintain off-platform ledgers for unsupported onchain activities to support reconciliation and auditing
- Partner with Treasury and Accounting to ensure the accuracy of onchain wallet activity flowing into accounting systems
- Perform regular reconciliations of onchain wallet activity across various assets and networks
- Translate complex onchain activity into clear economic narratives for Finance Leadership and Audit
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong analytical and data skills; advanced user of Excel/Google Sheets
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and reconcile onchain data, including smart contract interactions
- High attention to detail and comfort operating with incomplete data
- Ability to explain complex onchain activity to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience reconciling high volumes of onchain activity across DeFi and staking
- Familiarity with crypto accounting concepts and digital asset accounting platforms
- Background in Big 4 audit support or high-growth crypto/fintech environments
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it relates to digital assets
