What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Inspect and test general surgery instruments to ensure proper functionality
- Disassemble malfunctioning equipment, repairing or replacing defective parts as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, parts, and repairs performed
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating instruments
- Facilitate equipment logistics, including pick-up, delivery, and repair status communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working with medical equipment in a hospital or clinic setting
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Great near-sighted vision and ability to distinguish colors
- Experience with digital calipers, soldering irons, and other precision tools
- Ability to perform tasks requiring good hand-eye coordination
