What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Solve complex problems involving multi-sensor imagery data analysis and integration for various U.S. government space programs
- Employ mathematical principles to optimize processing techniques, including target detection and multi-target tracking
- Validate novel image and signal processing algorithms through end-to-end data exploitation and analytics
- Craft innovative solutions and analytical reports for senior government customers
- Conduct modeling and simulation, algorithm performance trade studies, and report findings to stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field, such as Remote Sensing, Imaging Science, or Physics
- Eight years of relevant experience in imagery data analysis and algorithm development
- Extensive numerical programming experience using Python, Matlab, or C++
- An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary technical efforts across complex defense or intelligence programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in a related STEM field
- Demonstrated expertise in linear algebra and spectral theory through publications or patents
- Experience applying artificial intelligence/computer vision methods to detection and tracking applications
- Production-grade implementation of algorithms using eigenvalue analysis and related techniques
- Published work in scientific journals or technical conferences on remote sensing or algorithm development
