What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and execute a weekly sales plan, including customer appointments and territory routing
- Maintain comprehensive customer files detailing product usage and buying habits
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to address customer needs and introduce new product lines
- Communicate product changes and opportunities proactively to clients
- Collaborate with vendor sales representatives to align on customer opportunities and sales training
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must reside in Detroit, MI to be eligible for this position
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 2 years of prior sales experience in the building materials industry
- Strong oral and written communication skills
