What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support to the Legal Department on routine legal matters under supervision
- Review contracts and extract relevant provisions for data entry
- Assist in corporate, regulatory, banking, governance, and litigation matters
- Utilize discretion and initiative in prioritizing work and handling confidential duties
- Collaborate with team members using digital tools and video conferencing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and gather or direct information and data
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows applications, including Word and Excel
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to identify opportunities for operational improvement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts
- Experience in a previous internship or relevant coursework in law or finance
- Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of SharePoint and other collaborative tools
