What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with payment processing, ensuring accurate receipts and account information
- Utilize credit card approval systems for processing authorizations and balancing payments
- Reconcile deposits and communicate effectively with staff involved in cash management
- Analyze insurance payments and adjustments for compliance with contracts
- Complete uploads and downloads of electronic remittance files for accurate posting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Experience in payment processing or accounts receivable management
- Strong analytical skills for verifying insurance payments and adjustments
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial transactions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare financial role or similar environment
- Familiarity with patient accounting systems and electronic remittance processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret payment information
