      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Utilize encoder software to assign ICD-CM, CPT/HCPCS, and APC codes and resolve system edits for timely claims submission
      - Apply coding guidelines and adhere to all coding procedures to ensure compliance
      - Review patient records to determine required codes, modifiers, and edits affecting reimbursement
      - Collaborate with internal and external teams on claims, denials, and appeals
      - Maintain current knowledge of outpatient coding regulations and ethical standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Permanent U.S. work authorization required
      - CCS, CCA, or COC Certifications
      - Minimum of three (3) years of current acute care outpatient surgery and observation coding experience
      - Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and coding standards
      - Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience using encoder/grouping software and CAC
      - Encoder experience with 3M/Solventum, Encoder Pro, or Codify
      - Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, and Meditech systems
      - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
