What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the operational and clinical liaison between Pharmacy, Finance, Revenue Integrity, Compliance, and clinical specialties
- Develop policies and guidelines to improve revenue integrity, capture, and compliance
- Work with sites to decrease medication-related claim denials and outstanding claims
- Develop strategies and provide guidance on pharmacy and medication charging matters
- Maintain electronic health record medication record build and pharmacy charge description master
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience in hospital-based pharmacy practice
- Proficiency in Excel, Epic, Omnicell, and other pharmacy programs
- Ability to interpret and dispense prescription and non-prescription medication
- Good written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hospital experience or residency preferred
- License in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Knowledge of state and local regulations
- Ability to provide oversight and clinical supervision for pharmacy services and support personnel
