What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and respond to calls from members, providers, and pharmacies regarding benefit questions and prior authorization requests
- Research and resolve inquiries while adhering to regulatory and corporate guidelines
- Maintain expert knowledge on pharmacy benefits and formularies, including CMS regulations
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to provide resolution for claims and authorization updates
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of job-specific call center or customer service experience
- Pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Must be available to work 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in pharmacy or healthcare-related customer service
- Familiarity with pharmacy benefits and formularies
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with prior authorization processes in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
