About the Role
Travel Media Group is seeking a talented PHP Developer to join our growing technology team in Orlando, FL. This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining both client-facing and internal web applications that power our reputation, social media, and AI-driven hospitality platforms.
The ideal candidate is a motivated developer who thrives in an agile, collaborative environment , has a strong grasp of PHP frameworks, modern front-end technologies, and experience working with APIs and data scraping . Youu2019ll work on projects that directly impact thousands of hotels and management companies.
Responsibilities
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Develop, enhance, and maintain internal and external web applications built on PHP and Symfony.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Implement, integrate, and maintain t hird-party APIs and data ingestion/scraping pipelines.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Collaborate with team members in an agile environment using Git-based version control.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Contribute to feature planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Build responsive, accessible, and performant front-end interfaces using frontend frameworks.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Diagnose, debug, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Conduct unit testing and assist with deployment processes.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Manage time effectively, communicate progress, and meet task deadlines.
Qualifications
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 2+ years of professional PHP and MySQL development experience.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Proficiency in Symfony or similar MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter).
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs .
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Knowledge of web scraping tools and techniques (e.g., cURL, Guzzle, Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup, or similar).
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Familiarity with Doctrine ORM or equivalent database abstraction layers.
u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Understanding of responsive design principles and browser compatibility.

u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

u25CF u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Experience with front-end frameworks such as React , Vue.js , or Angular .
