      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a primary therapist, including patient and family education
      - Implement treatment programs using physical agents, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training
      - Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with departmental policies
      - Collaborate with physical therapists to ensure continuity of patient care and transition to the next level of care
      - Participate in the clinical education of physical therapist assistant students

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the WA State Department of Health upon hire
      - Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, including patient treatment affiliation
      - Eighteen months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant 1, or equivalent
      - Physical ability to move patients and equipment
      - Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications, except where legal requirements exist

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with patients with complex medical problems
      - Familiarity with performance improvement activities and CQI initiatives
      - Background in supervising or training physical therapist assistant students
      - Knowledge of infection control and safety programs in a healthcare setting
