      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead and oversee medical assessments and waiver adjudications for the USCG
      - Review and analyze medical records and discharge rosters to identify cases involving medical waivers
      - Provide constructive feedback and guidance to healthcare staff
      - Ensure compliance with USCG and DoD medical policies and standards
      - Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient records

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Doctorate or Master’s Degree in a medical field (e.g., PA, NP) from an accredited program
      - Current, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state
      - Board certification as a PA or NP
      - Minimum of three years of experience in medical record review or military medical assessments
      - Familiarity with USCG and DoD medical policies and HIPAA compliance standards

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional specialty certifications in emergency medicine or behavioral health
      - Experience leading research projects related to medical waivers
      - Proficiency with Cerner EMR and other military health record systems
      - Demonstrated ability to assess training success and condition progression
      - Strong analytical skills in evaluating healthcare outcomes
