What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the development of pricing strategies, rate analyses, and Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs)
- Analyze historical billing and performance data to inform pricing recommendations
- Build and maintain Excel-based models for pricing scenario evaluations
- Respond to ad hoc pricing inquiries and provide timely guidance within established frameworks
- Collaborate with Finance, Billing, and LPM teams to validate pricing data and assumptions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and analytical tasks
- Strong quantitative aptitude with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive requests in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment, particularly in billing, finance, or pricing
- Knowledge of the law-firm time and billing lifecycle and its impact on pricing
- Background as a high-performing biller or analyst transitioning into pricing
- Exposure to pricing strategy and Alternative Fee Arrangement development
