What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop export authorization strategies for international marketing, sales, and manufacturing of defense articles
- Prepare and submit export/import license applications and requests for U.S. Government approval
- Provide status updates on export/import authorizations to leadership and program teams
- Facilitate compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Conduct training for employees involved in international business activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Experience with ITAR and/or EAR regulations
- Proficiency with Global Trade tools and systems such as DECCS, SNAP-R, or SAP-GT
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under time-sensitive conditions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing ITAR and EAR export authorizations
- Advanced Degrees such as Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Business (MBA), or Masters in International or Legal Studies
- Problem-solving skills to address business challenges proactively
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing U.S. Government and customer requirements
- Strong collaborative spirit to work effectively with cross-functional teams
