What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct clinical coding audits as defined by client contracts and internal quality assessments
- Coordinate and oversee the coder onboarding process for assigned clients
- Monitor employee coding accuracy rates and provide coaching as needed
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and compliance with regulatory agencies
- Serve as a coding expert and provide educational feedback to internal coders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience coding Profee/PB charts
- Experience using Athena, Cerner, Epic, and 3M (TruCode preferred)
- AHIMA or AAPC Coding credential required: RHIA, CPC, RHIT
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail and coding accuracy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with global/offshore coders
- Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA)
- Familiarity with multiple coding encoders and systems
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
