      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Evaluate financial responsibility of patients and update accounts to a billable/collectible status
      - Work with third-party insurance and payer contracting to maximize cash recovery and reduce receivables
      - Review accounts for billing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
      - Handle patient concerns with professionalism and provide excellent customer service
      - Assist in training new staff and accommodate visitors with accurate information

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; Associate's Degree preferred
      - Minimum of three years of Professional Fee billing experience
      - Knowledge of collection laws, medical coding (CPT & ICD-9/10), and third-party billing guidelines preferred
      - Strong mathematical calculation skills and proactive problem-solving abilities
      - Highly effective oral and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with current collection laws and medical terminology
      - Experience using PC applications, including spreadsheets and word processing software
      - Ability to meet quality performance standards and maintain excellent customer service relationships
