      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee day-to-day facility maintenance and act as the primary liaison between vendors and laboratory personnel
      - Collect and analyze data to optimize laboratory space and equipment utilization
      - Manage procurement of laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring bulk discounts and standardized purchases
      - Ensure compliance with institutional, federal, state, and local policies and regulations for laboratory projects
      - Approve operational and capital expenditures and prepare budget reports in consultation with administration

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field
      - Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience, including hands-on laboratory bench work and management of personnel
      - Strong project management experience
      - Understanding of laboratory operations and compliance issues
      - Experience in research, grant processes, and fiscal management of budgets

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in academic research and/or medicine
      - Holding lead roles in a laboratory environment
      - Knowledge of collaboration among various departments (OSP, IRB, Lab Medicine, UWMC)
      - Familiarity with regulatory policies and submissions
