What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough research on properties using various data sources and analyze factors influencing property value
- Gather and organize data on comparable properties and market conditions for appraiser use
- Assist in the preparation of appraisal reports by entering data into appraisal software
- Monitor local real estate market trends and report findings to senior appraisers
- Maintain and organize property files and research notes for efficient access
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree; industry-related field preferred
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience in real estate research and/or market analysis required
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in a related field preferred
- Experience in data entry/data management and time series analysis/forecasting
- Strong data software applications skills
