What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with provider offices to enhance network performance and satisfaction
- Partner with providers to improve performance on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient retention and growth
- Conduct initial provider onboarding and offer ongoing education on organizational tools and programs
- Facilitate and resolve provider issues, including claims and eligibility inquiries
- Document and monitor provider engagement activities and submit weekly activity reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of related experience in provider relations or contracting with an HMO, IPA, or medical group
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation, with 80% travel by car required
