What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a liaison between providers, patients, insurance companies, and clinical departments to facilitate patient scheduling
- Verify insurance eligibility using real-time eligibility (RTE) tools and pre-register patients
- Manage orders within assigned work queues and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers to meet performance metrics
- Problem-solve and resolve issues related to scheduling and patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Healthcare experience is required
- Must reside no more than 1 hour from either designated hospital location
- Availability for a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with scheduling procedures and call handling
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Excellent communication skills
